We are thrilled to introduce you to HEAL Utah’s newest staff member, Meisei Gonzalez! He will be HEAL’s new Communications Associate.
Meisei comes to HEAL after working in digital communications at Alliance Community Services and graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Strategic Communications. He has dedicated his work to advocacy and has spent multiple years fighting for immigrant rights, providing COVID-19 education, and organizing in various communities.
Meisei was raised in Salt Lake City but has family in California and Mexico, where his family is originally from. When he can, he roadtrips to visit his family alongside his husky Howl. He also does (incredible, if we do say so ourselves) editorial makeup and is a self-proclaimed foodie – his go to picks are boba shops, taco trucks, and ramen spots.
