We are excited to welcome our newest intern, Hannah Mae, to the HEAL team! Read on to meet Hannah and learn what she’s doing at HEAL:
Hannah Mae is receiving her undergraduate degree from Utah State University in Community Health Education and Promotion and will graduate in 2019. As a long-time supporter of renewable energy and other initiatives which lead to improved environmental health, she came to HEAL with the goal of creating a healthier environment for future generations. She is one of HEAL’s Clean Power for Utah Community Organizing Intern and will be focusing on Cache Valley.
Hannah Mae is also dedicated to women’s health and policy, comprehensive sexuality education, cannabis regulation and education, and more. In her free time, she watches every documentary she can get hands on, cooks with her family, and hikes local trails with her partner and their German Shepherd, Jäger.
