Overview

We are constantly trying to create visibility for our organization and campaigns. We want the public to see us and to educate them about our issues and urgency. We want to give the public an opportunity to get involved and to express their concerns. We want decision-makers to see the breadth and depth of public concern abut an issue.

Responsibilities

• Identify tabling opportunities; i.e., opportunities for us to set up our table and distribute literature and/or recruit volunteers.

Examples:

• Festivals at the library
• Volunteer fairs
• Universities
• Student drives
• Farmer’s markets

• Staff tabling events. Actively participate in increasing the visibility of our group.

• Help design and post flyers for upcoming events. Post flyers in public areas such as: campuses, libraries, city and county buildings, senior centers, public bulletin boards, etc.
