Professor Dan McCool, the author of the new book HEAL's Christopher Thomas will also discuss the risks the Green River reactors pose to Utah's iconic canyon country, and the latest in HEAL's efforts to stop them. All proceeds support HEAL Utah and our work to protect our public health and environment from nuclear threats. Business casual or casual dress. *This is a fundraiser, but we understand that not everyone can afford a $50 ticket. Discount tickets are for those who would like to come, but are limited by the regular ticket price. Whether you are a student, single parent, teacher, non-profit employee, retiree . . . whatever. You can select this option on our website.Please note that, while donations made at the event are tax-deductible, ticket purchases are not.Parking information: We will have a small number of handicapped/special needs parking spots available directly behind the State Room (west of the building). Diamond Parking operates a small lot just south of the State Room, the cost is $3, bills only. There is also plentiful street parking within a short walking distance of The State Room. We recommend giving yourself a few extra minutes to park and walk to the venue. Meters on State Street are $2/hour through 8 p.m. Free parking is available on 600 and 700 South and 200 East, as well as on neighboring streets. Biking and taking public transit are also encouraged.
