Speak out against Utah becoming the world’s nuclear dumping ground

EnergySolutions wants to import 20,000 tons of nuclear waste from Italy and dispose some of it here in Utah.  Yet, no Utah public official has spoken out against this proposal!

On Feb. 1st, a state regulatory board will decide if they should be the first to take a bold stand.

Let’s pack the room and encourage them to protect Utah from becoming the world’s nuclear dumping ground.

Where: Radiation Control Board. Department of Environmental Quality (Bldg #2), Conference Room 101, 168 North 1950 West, Salt Lake City, Utah. Click here for a map.
When: 2:00 – 4:00 PM, February 1, 2008
