Global warming is quite possibly the most significant threat facing our world today. Utah emits more greenhouse gases per capita than the rest of the nation, and we are also warming faster than the global average.

But on Sunday Jan. 20th, HEAL Utah, Utah Clean Energy, and Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker will speak on addressing Global Warming and Utah specific solutions.

The first part of the evening, the Utah State Democrates and Brewvies Cinema are sponsoring a special free screening of An Inconvenient Truth. The film is free, but attendees will be asked to register to vote or pledge to register others by the next general election. You can also pick up information about HEAL Utah and Utah Clean Energy. Then after the film, join us for a question-and-answer session about how you can be a part of the solution here in Utah!
