“The quality of our natural and physical environment is directly related to the quality of our civic environment. Ultimately, environmental issues are about democracy and whether people embrace their roles as active and engaged citizens.”
--Chip Ward
Please join HEAL Utah and Gallery MAR in welcoming writer and political activist Chip Ward to Park City!
Chip Ward, one of the founders of HEAL Utah, will discuss what it means to live "downwind in the west" and why he got involved in the movement to re-engage people in the decisions affecting their health and environment.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about HEAL’s current efforts to transform Utah’s energy policy and protect our state from nuclear and toxic waste.
Donations to support HEAL Utah’s work will be accepted although there is no expectation or obligation to give.
A big thank you to Gallery MAR for hosting this event!
