More about HEAL Utah
HEAL Utah is a grassroots non-profit dedicated to watchdogging the nuclear and toxic activities in our state, promoting clean energy, and educating and involving citizens in the decisions affecting our health and environment.  From a coalition of citizens who came together to oppose the incineration of chemical weapons in the West Desert to today, HEAL Utah has grown to become one of the foremost groups engaged in community outreach and education in the state.

Currently HEAL Utah is working to stop the expansion of nuclear waste disposal at EnergySolutions--the largest commercial nuclear dumpsite in the country; prevent the construction of a nuclear power plant in scenic southern Utah; and prevent the resumption of nuclear weapons testing. With our eUtah renewable energy roadmap, we are also advocating for a future in which Utah's electricity primarily comes from renewable energy and advances in energy efficient technology, rather than polluting fossil fuel or nuclear resources.
